Wreck Varese

The Italian merchant ship Varese sank in 1915, when it was carrying a cargo from Trieste to Tunis. Because of stormy weather that prevailed during this period in the northern Adriatic Sea, the captain decided to unite in the port of Pula to safety.

As he sailed to the port of Pula, he hit a mine which blew the bow and the ship sank at the place where it is located today.

The wreck has a length of 60 meters and a width of 9 meters. Lies in 42 meters depth. The upper deck is located at 33 meters.

During a dive, you can immerse yourself in the wreck, which sufficiently wide along its entire length and is safe.

Also, one should keep an eye on its zero time, at  this depth and with this spectacular scenery it is easy forgotten.

With Nitrox you can pick out a few more minutes on the wreck.
