During our visit to Eudi, we had the honor of meeting Eleonora de Sabata from the European Shark project, and naturally we want to help and be part of it.
What is it? A LIFE project co-funded by the European Union, engaging citizens and marine professionals in Croatia, France, Italy, Slovenia, and Spain to safeguard the most endangered group of marine fish in Europe.
How?
For us, surveys and sightings are important. That's why I ask all our clients who have photos of catsharks, rays, stingrays, or eagle rays to contact Maddy and send them, possibly including the date and, if you remember, the dive site.
Starting this year, directly after the dives, we will summarize the day's sightings. And our guides will also be equipped with GoPros to document the sightings.
